My name is Sarah Mekonnen [Mc-cone-nun]. I am a Product Designer currently @ Razorfish located in VA. I’ve made strides in the UX field and look forward to keep climbing the metaphorical ‘mountain’.

My Design Philosophy: Transparency and Understanding.

Design communicates the unsaid truths of today. If we go back in history and look at the modern art of their time it is certain that art, culture, architecture and technology says a lot about who created it and what was happening at the time.

Lucky for me as a Product Designer I get to ponder on the ‘Why’ of the product and be a part of how design drives impact to the business and who it (the business) is or rather who it is becoming by molding the end-users’ experiences with this understanding.

Cook in Naples. Some of the best food in the world!	Amalfi Coast. I was too stunned to speak. 😲	Sardinia, Italy. A beautiful Island close to Spain. Their Italian sounds like it has some Spanish influence.
Natural Bridge State Park. Its said that this was one of the 7 wonders of the world back in the 1800s. VA wins!	Tomato, basil and rosemary are besties. 👯	Paella a Barcelona. Can't stop thinking of this meal. Top 10 by far!

Tulum Girls Trip. We love a good excursion!	Cross country skiing. Some things are meant to be experienced once. And I mean ONLY once. Nonetheless, an experience I will never forget.😅	This is my third place.
